I am pleased to announce that we are now posting the Sabbath Lessons from Roots of Faith on the web site for all to listen to. Most of the services are broken down into 3-4 MP3 files. The first is my introduction to the lesson, next is the actual reading from the Torah and Prophets. This is then followed by another teaching session and most week’s we will also post a file with Q and A.
I am posting the audio files under the following categories; podcasts, weekly lessons, and Torah Readings.
You are encouraged to listen to the lessons and send others to the site to do the same. Feel free to contact me with questions, comments or criticism of anything that you hear on these files. I will do my best to answer your notes. Be patient as I have a busy schedule, but please know that your feedback is important to me and can make these lessons better.
I also plan on posting some smaller audio files in the coming weeks. Many of you may find it difficult to listen to 2 hours of teaching a week. I pray that these lessons will bless and educate you, and in so doing, inspire you to live a more Biblical lifestyle.
Shalom, Ross
I started a new category for my blog called Book Reviews. Under this heading I will provide book reviews on the books that I read. Some of these will be in the form of written blogs, while I may post podcasts on some of the books that I read.
I am currently reading the book, The Misunderstood Jew - The Church and the Scandal of the Jewish Jesus by Amy-Jill Levine. I should finish the book and post a review no later than the weekend if all goes according to plan. Check back soon.
