Roots of Faith

In this class, Ross teaches on the Liberty that comes from following the Torah. The class is based upon the Torah reading called Mishpatim. The name means “Judgments”.

Ross also brings in an interesting connection between the birth of Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809) and this Torah reading. The day before Abraham Lincoln was born, this Torah reading was read in synagogues around the world. One of the main points in this week’s Torah portion deals with Slaves. The reading from the prophets makes this point as well. Could there be a connection? You will not want to miss this class!
