In this week’s teaching, Ross Nichols speaks on Torah reading Vayyigash (Genesis 44:18 – 47:27). The class begins with some explanation of the ancient reading cycles and the antiquity of the practice of reading the Torah and Prophets in the Synagogue. Ross shows how these readings from the prophets are tied together with their corresponding Torah reading to make a point. In this week’s class, Joseph reveals himself to his brothers. Ross shows that this reading points to a greater revelation to come – a revelation that is spoken of by the ancient prophets of Israel. You will not want to miss this class.
